Google and Intuit

Another Arrow in the Small Business Marketing Quiver has been added.  Google and Intuit, makers of small business accounting software Quickbooks, have formed an alliance.  I’d do a review, but a couple notables already have -

John Jantsch - Also announcing an acquisition by Intuit of Stepup Commerce.  More web enabling technology for small business.
Michael Arrington - giving a review of the conference call between CEO Eric Schmidt and CEO Steve Bennet discussing the alliance.

What a great strategic alliance - Giving small business owners exposure to the internet as a marketing tool (the greatest marketing tool in my mind) is brilliant.  Good for Intuit.  Here is the official Press Release.
